Camp Syncro '23We hope to have our "Camp Syncro" base camp for Sequoias '23 in the Group Sites area of Crystal Springs Campground. We would reserve several of what they call "mid-size" group sites, sufficient for our 10 Syncros and over 20 people.

The campground lies under open stands of evergreen trees at an elevation of 6,500 ft. It is a 15-minute drive from the main entrance to Kings Canyon National Park, 5 minutes from the General Grant sequoia grove, and an hour from the Giant Forest area. Campground Information This campground has 36 individual sites and 14 mid-size group (7-15 people) sites. Camping is open from early spring through late fall. Tent sites and group sites open in May and close in September. The campground has no hookups or dump stations. Amenities or Services Crystal Springs Campground has:
Showers There are no showers at Crystal Springs. At least one of our outings will take us near the Lodgepole Village which has showers. Bears and Food You are required to store food properly in order to protect bears. Each campsite has a large food storage locker (47”W x 33”D x 28”H) that is resistant to bears when properly latched.
